Waterloo, NY: Birthplace of Memorial Day. I have had the honor of being involved with and photographing the events in Waterloo for the last 6+ years. This year was special because the event included presidential re-enactors for Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, who both spoke at the Welles Award Presentation.

We also photographed the annual 5k Race, which has grown this year to nearly 250 runners! Congratulations to Jack Sutliffe and all of the Celebrate Commemorate committee for another year of a job well done!
