When I was asked to shoot this maternity session, I was a little nervous at first. I had never shot one before, and I didn’t have a studio, which is where they are usually photographed. After looking at many other photographers’ work, I decided to shoot it like my normal portrait sessions, on location. We had wonderful light about 10am at Egypt Park, but I also used a wireless flash to add a subtle kicker to the images. Three year old Joey is very excited to be getting a little sister, so he was wonderful (mostly) for the session. Special thanks to grandma for keeping him entertained when he wasn’t needed in front of the camera. Congratulations Jenora on your next bundle of joy, and Joey you will be a great big brother!
