In Home Twin Photography : Three Months Old

If you’ve been following along, this post is a follow up to the Thanksgiving Portrait Giveaway from last november. Our winner donated their prize, a signature on-location session with me, to this family with newborn twins. I finally got the chance to meet them last month when they were just over three months old. Everyone involved was wonderful to work with, and I consider myself lucky to be able to do what I do!

Without further ado, meet [m] and [k]!

The above photos describe the session pretty well, [k] was alert and ready for his closeup, while [m] just wanted to sleep! Below is my favorite of the session: a quiet moment between mother and daughter.

Dr. Littlejohn Orthodontics Photo Shoot

These kids are not models, but they sure looked the part for this photo shoot! We photographed clients of Dr. Littlejohns Orthodontics in Waterloo, NY for a new brochure and to update their website. The featured students are in various phases of treatment to show retainers, braces and finished smiles! Over a dozen people took part in this photo shoot, and none of us can wait to see the printed brochure! A special Thank You to everyone who participated and made this shoot a success!

A Sunny Outdoor Wedding

This summer, we had the honor of photographing a beautiful couple in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The wedding was held in Black Creek Park, Chili. The air was filled with the sounds of a string band; the smell of fresh cut grass and Dinosaur BBQ set the tone for a fun, lively afternoon. There was a magician entertaining the children, and plenty of food and drink for the adults. The ceremony was short, unique, and very personal. The guests were arranged in a circle surrounding the bride and groom while passages were read, and songs were sung.

Ruby Jane: Christmas in the Desert

If you haven’t been to the Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park, I highly recommend it! It is small but beautiful, and is full of great, living backdrops. Ruby Jane was a delight to work with, her smile infectious! This shoot was done in two parts: on location at the Conservatory, and in the family’s home. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Portraits: Lauren, Danielle and Family

Kids are a lot of fun to work with, and also pose a great challenge to the photographer. Have your camera set and ready, because you never know when that “moment” is going to come! When Lauren decided she didn’t want to sit by the tree anymore, we went and played outside. Thats when I was able to get this moment she shared with her dad, watching the ducks go by on the canal. I love the hand on her hip! It says so much about her personality.
